I’d be hard pressed to choose between the old Sherlock from the unaired pilot and the new Sherlock. Benedict Cumberbatch is just brilliant in both. But I do feel, putting the old Sherlock in some of the new episodes (that probably were written with the new character interpretation in mind) wouldn’t have worked quite well…But I still can’t even decide what hair I like better. Like come on. I’m sad I know. But I feel like because appearance-wise new Sherlock is pretty put together except for his hair which is a bit wilder, but then old Sherlock just generally isn’t so…put together if you know what I mean. He wears jeans and strange-ish shirts and is a bit…nicer…Hmm conflicts…
